The One Size “Fitted Cloth Nappy” System

NEWBORN

ZAPPY NAPPIES are a fitted cloth nappy system designed to make life easier. Follow these five steps to trouble-free nappy changing and a comfortable fit.

1 . Open the Zappy Nappy ready to change your baby. Fold the attached liner under and in half.

2 . Place baby on the nappy and pull the front up between the legs to form a snug fit.

3 . Ensure the Velcro® square is positioned just above the waistband wings. Fold the wings in and secure them with the Velcro® tabs.

4 . Fold the front flap forward over the waistband wings and tuck under the wings.

ROOM TO GROW

1 . Lay the Zappy nappy out flat and pull the attached liner fully forward

2. Additional Liners can be added to the system for increase absorbency. Two types of liners are now available; an all cotton booster liner, and a all cotton booster liner with waterproof backing. We recommend that the waterproof liner be placed under the attached liner for maximum absorbency.

3 . Fold the extra length under to suit boy or girl or just extend fully.

4 . Place baby on the Zappy nappy and pull up front flap to form a snug fit.

5 . Secure the Zappy nappy using the Velcro® on the waistband wings in combination with the large strip on the front. Allow the excess flap to fall forward to cover the Velcro® and help protect baby from any skin contact with the loop Velcro.

TRAINERS

The elasticize leg and waistbands help provide a snug fit as baby learns to crawl and walk. Zappy nappies will expand to fit most toddlers.

You'll gain even more use out of your Zappy nappy by adding the elastic extension / extra sizer to the waistband wings to turn them into trainer pants.

Toilet training becomes less stressful for both toddler and parents thanks to Zappy Nappies.

You may also find your two year old will toilet train more easily if a cloth fitted nappy is used as a night Nappy.

WASHING

Zappy nappies should be washed at least once before use to maximize absorbency.

Anti-bacterial soakers can be used, but do not use chlorine bleaches. Always flush solids before soaking. Some nappy soakers may fade colored nappies.

Fold the Velcro® on the waistband wings in on itself to help protect it from lint.

Peg the Zappy up by the front flap, as it will dry faster and take up less clothesline space. Exposure to extensive sunlight may fade colored nappies over time.

Don't dry them outside if the temperature is less than 0º Celsius. This may affect the elastic.

Zappy nappies are clothes dryer safe using low to medium heat only 30 degrees Celsius as hot temperatures may affect the Velcro fasteners.

We recommend that Zappy Overpants be hand washed using mild soap in cold water and hung to dry out of direct sunlight. This will help prolong the life of the special fabric, which may vary from 3 to 9 months. If coating begins to separate it is time for a new pair.
