Travel planning is fun ... When looking for the best price, these are some of the sites I surf ... some I register for a newsletter to keep me up to date.

Note the links shown are my preference ... the web has a lot more. I am always interested in new ones.

Airlines - Airfares

Traveling to anywhere in the world and within Asia
Singapore Airlines.
I like SQ who provide good service and comfort
Thai International.
Thai has good service and comfort - they have some good deals via Bangkok with other airlines.
Malaysian Airway.
Malaysian for good service with good connections via Kuala Lumpur
Emirate
Emirates are excellent. They have good flights to Europe with just one stop in Dubai .
Qantas.
The most popular airlines from Australia. with flights on the Pacific and to Asia and Europe.
Jetstar.
Budget Airlines with some good deals - operated by Qantas
United.
United has good services over the pacific to a many US destinations - Check fares all the way through to your final destination, they get some good deals.
Virgin
I have not used them for international travel, but they read well and have ties with other carriers.

Traveling USA
United
They have a good network in the US for domestic travel.
Delta
A good domestic network in US. I find they often have good prices.

Traveling within Asia
Air Asia
I have not flown them - they have a good network.
Vietnam Airlines
I flew them recently. Very vice flight and service.

Traveling within Europe - These are budget airlines so check for any extra costs.
Easyjet
Very good value in Europe
Berlin Air
Very good and the service surprised me for a budget airline
Ryan Air
Budget Airline in Europe - Understand good value but I have not flown with them.
Wiz
This is one I discovered, they have lots of flights within Europe. They seem good value but I have not flown on them.

Two reasons why I check the Online Agents ..

1: They are sometimes cheaper than going to the airline direct.

2: They get some good fares, combining two airlines. Example Thai and Austrian Airlines, Malaysia and KLM and many other good deals.

This is based on airlines I like. The options will vary depending were you live, who you like to fly with, in many cases people have Frequent Flyer Points.

Hotels - Accommodation

Globalstore MXP. I like this. I can can check a lot of sites in one go .. it also shows who will charge me a booking fee extra.

Booking.com get some good deals - you can see them and compare rates via Hotels Combined above - they will show on the search via the button above

Cruises

I have only given links to Cruise Companies I have traveled on. Many features make up a Cruise Line ... I have have given them my rating based on 1-5.

A number of cruises on Celebrity. My Rating 4
Princess Cruises
A number of cruises on Princess. My Rating 4
Holland America Cruises

Though I have rated them 4 or 5. I should add, they were all exceptional and I will be happy to travel on any of them again.
