Malaga offers a lot to see with it history dating back to the Romans and Moors. Visits should be made to Malaga's Alcazaba and Castillo de Gibralfare and a lot more.

Sightseeing Malaga

The main sights cover quite a large area, it is be better to use either a taxi for Gibralfare or the Hop On Off Bus to get around.

Malaga much to see - should not be missed:

Castillo de Gibralfare (Hop On Hop Off Bus Stop).
14th Century Moorish Castle. One can walk around the castle walls with wonderful view over Malage, the ocean and country side. Visit the museum. You have a walk to Alcazaba but this is steep.

Alcazaba
9th century Moorish Palace, you can walk through the gardens, castle walls and buildings. Located near the city center just off Paseo del Parque.

Picasso Home (Hop On Hop Off Bus Stop Close By)
Pablo Ruiz Picasso was was born in Malaga 1881, spending his early formative years in the city. The building overlooking a square offers a nice opportunity for a break.

The Cathedral (Hop On Hop Off Stop)
Dating back to 1528 on or near the sight of a former Mosque. Note one of its towers was never built.

The city has many restaurants, the modern part fine shopping.

Malaga has a lot to see with the moorish style Alcazaba and Gibralfare alone making it a place to visit.

I found the Hop On Hop Off Bus a good way to get around though select your stops as parts of the run are a little boring but then again they show you both side of the city.
