Florence Square - David

Florence in central Italy. The capital city of Tuscany on the River Arno surrounded by gentle hills.

It has the most wonderful centre, easy to walk and explore with much of beauty. Not a big area, it's easy on foot, but make sure you have a map and guide book.

My Travels Neil Walker - View All
I find Naples raw and exciting ... it has a feeling of adventure with lots to explore.

To see the city area I would walk the centre area, then use the Hop On Hop Off Bus for the remainder ... the bus pass is one day, so plan to make the most pf this.

Pompeii is a must, but needs to be seen with a guide or a good guidebook. I would take the train out to Pompeii as it's close to the station.

Capri is a lovely day ... easy to arrange the Hydrofoil to the island, though I would suggest an overnight, giving you time to see more.
