Important Booking Conditions
These conditions should be read as they will apply to all reservations


Booking Direct Via Globalstore or MXP

We suggest booking as early as possible, in peak holiday periods accommodation can be difficult to obtain. When possible an alternative choice can avoid delay.

Prices: The prices shown are supplied by the properties. Globalstore MXPwill only provide a special or lower rate if it has been authorised by the property.

Payment: Payment of deposit and balance is directly to the property. Globalstore MXP will not accept any payment for your reservation.

Deposit: A deposit will be required within 7 days to hold the reservation. This can be by Credit Card or Cheque. The normal deposit is $100 to $200. Some properties will require a higher amount which will be advised. Credit Card information submitted to Globalstore will be passed to the property of collection.

Late Deposit Payment: If your deposit has not been received by the property within 7 days of the confirmation it could lead to cancellation. Globalstore will not be responsible should this occur.

Balance: This is payable directly to the property on check in. In peak or other seasons some properties may require payment in advance of arrival which will be advised with your confirmation.

Confirmation: Globalstore will provide a detailed confirmation by email or by facsimile or mail if requested. This provides the full address of the property, the total cost and deposit required.

Conditions for the Reservations made Online from Globalstore or MXP sites for providers listed:

The conditions of the provider will apply. These are available on the various sites, they should be read and understood. Globalstore or any member of it's staff can not vary these.

Any dispute would be carried out directly between you the client and the provider of the service. No responsibility is accepteed by Globalstore or MXP.

Information: The information and pictures shown on the website have been supplied by the property or service provider. Things can change, Globalstore will not guarantee it is correct.

Accommodation: This can vary from the style of room shown in the pictures. If you are unhappy with the accommodation received you should take the following action.

Property Manager. You should immediately contact the reception area or manager with your complaint. The manager of the property is the only person that can authorise any changes or refunds.

Claims for refunds. These can only be made directly with the property. Globalstore only acts as agent for the property and does not collect or hold any passenger payments.

Cancellation Fee. Globalstore does not charge any cancellation fees. The property or service providers will have a cancellation policy which can result in a charge. These vary with all properties and service providers, they would be available on request at the time of booking. It is important you read and understand these, they will apply should you cancel or amend a reservation.

Pictures and location maps are provided as a guide only - furnishing and style or equipment can vary.

Website Information and Prices: This is being updated as the information is received from the properties and other providers. Whilst every effort will be made to maintain correct information and prices it is not guaranteed and we will not be responsible should the price or information be out of date.

Bookings with Globalstore MXP: When you request a reservation we will confirm the current price and availability, we are not responsible for the reservation prior to payment of the deposit.

Bookings Online by other providers: They are responsible for the information provided and prices. The providers conditions will apply and they are responsible for your booking.

Prices and Conditions: These are in the currency of the country concerned and are subject to change without notice. Accommodation reservations do not include meals, transfers or other items unless indicated on the confirmation. They do not include transportation costs to or from your home port.

Surcharges, Security and Bonds: These can apply at certain times of the year when a special event takes place or in Queensland the 'schoolies period' in Nov/Dec each year. These are an additional charge applied by the property. If we know these apply to a reservation, we will endeavor to advise at the time of booking. (At times we are not aware and will not accept responsibility if this is the case).

Cancellation or Change: These are the responsible of the property or service provider, any decision concerning a reservation, even if a deposit has been paid, that may result in any change or cancellation of the reservation is the managers responsibility - Globalstore must accept the decision and is not responsible.

Responsibility

Globalstore Reservations MXP has used information provided by the supplier (Hotels, Apartments, Motels, Resorts or other types of accommodation and services) or Information provided by the operator of other services

In supplying this information and reservations, Globalstore Reservations MXP acts as the agent of the property or other service operators. Whilst Globalstore Reservations MXP will try to ensure the information contained in this site is correct at the time of publication, Globalstore Reservations MXP disclaims and will be exempt from liability in respect of anything misleading, false, incomplete or inaccurate and any errors, misdescription and all associated disappointment, loss, expense, damage, inconvenience, delay, death, shock, illness or injury, however caused.

Globalstore Reservations MXP disclaims and will be exempt from liability for anything to do with the supply of products on the www.globalstore.com.au and www.mxp.com.au web sites.. This includes liability (whether as a matter of contract, tort, statute, restitution, or otherwise) for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, liability, claim, cost, expense, proceeding, demand, penalty, disappointment, death, injury, illness, shock, inconvenience or delay. It also applies irrespective of the cause, including negligence of us or an Operator, withdrawal, cancellation or failure to provide a Product, delay, any variation in the Product, the provision of substitute Products or a change in the Operator.

Travel Insurance: This is strongly recommended for all travel arrangements.
