Regensburg Germany6 Info
Regensburg - Germany - Danube
Regensburg a UNESCO World Heritage site. Remains unspoilt over troubled times, a joy to walk the narrow streets.
Something you should try ... Sausages are the dish of the day at the Historiche Wurstküche next to the Stone Bridge. The Historic Sausage Kitchen has been serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner in sausage for at least 500 years.
Regensburg is easily explored on foot. Not to be missed:
The Stone Bridge
St. Peter's Cathedral
Walking will take you through the Old Quarter, with its atmosphere, twisting lanes and courtyards.
A nice stop for refreshments is in the New Parish Square or Cathedral Square.
Getting Around Passau
Car: If touring this is a good stop.
River Cruises: This is a stop with many of the river cruises, it may include a tour of the town. Mostly they dock within an easy walk to Stone Bridge and the town.
Rail: InterCityExpress (ICE) is the highest service category offered by Deutsche Bahn (German Railways).
