One of the best preserved Hanseatic town centers in the world. Its a city to walk and explore. its main beauty is within the old city walls with narrow cobbled streets and squares. Sightseeing Tallinn Tallinn has a Hop On Hop Off Bus Service and also a Tallinn Card. These give one the opportunity to see area outside of the old town, and entrance to places within the town. If you should decide to purchase the Tallinn Card read the inclusions as they vary on the 1 and 2 day card. - see my comment - I found a map and walking, the best way to see the old town. Its medieval walls are magnificent and one should visit the Helleman Tower. Though it's on a hill, its worth the walk with gabled houses, architectural buildings and the views over the city. When planning a walk one should include Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Dominican Monastery, Helleman Tower and Toompea Castle. To show the beauty, these here are some pictures of the old town.
